About Ulster Hose Co. 5
Our district is approximately 13 square miles, covering the county’s shopping and manufacturing hub, the Hudson Valley Mall, the future iPark87, two elementary schools, a middle school, and a population of approximately 7,000 residents.
The company – which staffs the fire district – is all volunteer with 70+ active members, and we provide fire and EMS response, as well as fire prevention and community outreach programs.

Brooks BBQ at UHFD HQ!
On February 25, 2025, from 4pm-7pm Ulster Hose will be holding its yearly Brooks BBQ fundraiser. Tickets are for sale actively- ask a member to purchase, or call (845) 706-3432. Chicken is $16 and ribs are $20.

December and End of Year Runs
For the final month of the year, Ulster Hose ran 160 calls in December, bringing the yearly total to 1,659. This is the second-most calls in the company's history, behind 2022. We wish everybody a safe and healthy New Year!
