Small Basement Fire in First Due Response Area

On October 3 Ulster Hose was dispatched for smoke in a residence on Sawmill Road. First arriving units found a smoke condition in the kitchen as a result of a small fire in the basement. A second alarm was transmitted, the fire was quickly knocked down and all mutual aid was put into service shortly thereafter.
