At approximately 0807 hours on Friday, July 7th, Ulster Hose was dispatched for a one car rollover near the entrance of the traffic circle (located nearby the NYS Thruway). While en route units were advised that the vehicle was on its side and one patient was trapped. Engine 1’s crew arrived and stabilized the vehicle while also beginning the extrication of the patient. Rescue 3 and Engine 3 arrived shortly thereafter and assisted with the extrication. The roof was cut and folded down in order to extricate the patient from the vehicle, and they were turned over to Mobile Life Support Services for further medical care and evaluation.
