On Monday, April 22nd at approximately 0029 hours, Ulster Hose was dispatched for a structure fire assignment at the under construction LL Bean Storefront on Ulster Avenue. Car 2 arrived and found an active fire at the rear of the building, and called for a second alarm. It was determined that the fire was exterior, with extension to the loading dock area of the building. Engine 4’s crew was able to quickly extinguish the blaze, with the Truck 1 crew gaining entry and checking for extension. Crews were able to prevent any interior extension as a result of the fire.
