Ulster Hose has partnered with Garrison Fire Equipment to equip apparatus with Holmatro extrication tools, marking a decidedly researched change from Hurst. Using funds from a grant, UHFD has stocked Engine 1 with new cutters, spreaders, (2) rams and a combi tool, as well as Engine 3 with a new combi tool. Numerous training opportunities and research has led UHFD to make the leap to this brand of tools, and in the search of continued excellence, looks forward to using their skills to serve the public with these new pieces of equipment.
