On Tuesday, February 10th, at approximately 1036 hours, UHFD was dispatched under mutual aid to the Sawkill Fire Department for a 2nd alarm structure fire. Car 3 and Engine 4 responded with a full crew. Upon arrival, members entered the building and found an attic fire above them. Assisting with fire suppression and pulling ceiling to open up the building and extinguish the fire, members worked for approximately 1.5 hours before returning to service.
