On Saturday, August 12th at approximately 1546 hours, Ulster Hose was dispatched for a rollover with possible entrapment in the area of QuickChek at 640 Washington Avenue. Cars 2 and 6 arrived on scene and confirmed a vehicle rolled over with one occupant trapped. Engine 1 arrived on scene shortly thereafter, stabilized the vehicle and began extrication. Rescue 3 and Engine 3 arrived to assist those already on scene. The subject was removed within 10 minutes and transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. New York State Police, Town of Ulster Police, Ulster County Sheriff’s Office, Mobile Life Support and Central Hudson assisted on scene as well.
