On Tuesday, August 8th at approximately 1537 hours, Ulster Hose was dispatched to place to their dive team on standby for Greene County agencies operating at a possible drowning at Fawn’s Leap in Haines Falls. Shortly after dispatch, the dive team was requested to the scene to assist with operations. Unit 61-13 (Rescue 3) responded north with members. Unfortunately, the individual did not survive. This was the second time UHFD has responded to Fawn’s Leap in the last month.
