UHFD on Standby for Kingston High School Graduation

On Friday, June 28th, Ulster Hose was on standby for the Kingston High School Class of 2024 Graduation. The ceremonies took place at the Miller Middle School Athletic Fields on Fording Place Road. Members set up in the morning time and then returned to the area at approximately 1300 hours, remaining throughout the day and returning to service around 2000 hours. Ulster Hose was tasked with assisting the Kingston City School District with EMS and Fire coverage and manning multiple cooling/water tents for students and their guests.

Ulster Hose was assisted by Empress with an ALS ambulance, and the Town of Esopus Volunteer Ambulance Squad with an ambulance and fly car. The Ulster Police Department and Ulster County Sheriff’s Department assisted with safety and traffic control at the location. All agencies cooperated with the school district’s administration and safety teams to ensure proper operations.

Ulster Hose would like to extend their congratulations to all graduates, especially our very own members: Ryan Schleede and Jordan Anspach! Additionally, we congratulate Nick Ramsay, brother of Lieutenant Yakheem Ramsay, and Caiden Ott, grandson of commissioner Jim Bracco and brother of vice president Cameron Ott.
