Medivac Landing for EMS Call

On Saturday, November 23rd at approximately 1034 hours, Ulster Hose was dispatched to an EMS call (specific details are being withheld) at Planet Fitness, 810 Miron Lane. Upon arrival of Car 2 and members aboard Rescue 1 and Rescue 4, a member of the Esopus Volunteer Ambulance Squad was already evaluating the patient. After further evaluation, it was determined that given the patient’s condition, a Medivac was necessary to transport the patient out of area. After packaging the patient, an Esopus ambulance unit transported to Chambers Elementary School, where Engine 4 had established a Landing Zone. LifeNet Air 2 accepted the mission and transported the patient.
